This roundup was like a therapy session. I’ve been wresting deeply with the changes in my appearance as I age (I’m 48) and my feelings of invisibility. I want so badly to not care, to embrace where I am, to not feel so self-conscious about my face or my cellulite or my stomach…but it kind of feels like adolescence in a way, where my hormones (or something equally slippery) are leaving me with little control over my own feelings. This roundup - especially, the Atlantic interview - gave me a sense of perspective and hope. Thank you, Sari. The resources and experience you share are meaningful. You are helping women navigate seasons of life feeling less alone and more equipped. ❤️
What a fabulous bunch of stuff - as an Oldster and Gen x'er (1965 model) who is caring for her 86-year old husband, I deeply appreciate the Charlotte Cowels piece "The Woman Who Quit Her Job to Take Care of her Dad." And congrats on the grant from the H Foundation. Brava!
These round-ups are the one of the best parts of my Fridays! And that's thrilling news about the grant. Congrats—so well-deserved!
Thanks, Iris! 💕

Aww, thank you.
Ashton Appleton is amazing!!! You should try and get her for a live questionnaire!
Loved the Atlantic podcast. I’m not feeling the menopausal zest but hope to one day! I’m 56 on HRT
So happy you got your grant - can't wait to see what it's about. I love all things Oldster!
Thanks, Sallie!!
Congrats on that grant Sari! Oldster's such a great resource. It must have been an easy decision for them.
Thank you, Richard!!
